You know that feeling you get when you find a good restaurant that leaves you wanting to go back for more? That’s how I felt after my first visit to Hello Vietnam. So far I have been there 3 times in the past month alone. They are a fairly new restaurant with a very big menu! I have never visited Vietnam so I can’t say if it is authentic (I assume it is!) but the food sure as hell tastes amazing. There are only a handful of Vietnamese restaurants in Christchurch and this is definitely the best.
Hello! I am back to continue penning down our travel tales to Xiamen. Last time I wrote about Xiamen I wrote about our visit to the Fujian Tulou which were beautiful village clusters by the countryside. Our family village though, is the complete opposite. In fact you would probably not know you have stumbled upon a village if you walked pass it. Let me show you why:
So…I’ve been avoiding this issue for awhile – namely the lack of updates on my progress. Why? Because there has been no progress . Ever since I stopped Turbofire due to a back injury I sort of stopped exercising all together. I still had some spunk to exercise by going for walks etc for some time after the injury. But then we went on holiday and ever since then my motivation has just slowly dissipated. We still eat healthy meals mostly but without the exercise, it has just kept the weight stable. I guess it was the combination of a few factors which brought this about but lets not get into that.
Back with a simple recipe that should be in every person’s recipe arsenal. Eggs are simply the best ingredient IMO. You can never cook them wrong and they taste great all the time. There are many, many ways to cook an egg but my personal favourite, the scrambled egg. I make 2 types of scrambled eggs very often. One is the milky Western version while is other is an Asian version that I often make for dinner.
