Snowskin Mooncake

Hi everyone! Woops, it has been awhile. Work has gotten so so busy I simply cannot find to finish all the work I am meant to do. 90% of the time I feel like lying down on my office floor to do this –> . I don’t think it is quite appropriate so I have refrained myself from doing so. On the up-side, Nelson is back to it’s sunny warm days so I have started walking/biking to work again. This of course means that Spring is definitely here again. Ah, the birds are chirping, Sakura trees are blossoming and mooncakes start to appear in the Chinese shops signifying that Mid-Autumn Festival is just round the corner. 

I love love love mooncakes especially the snowskin types.

How to prep meals for working days

Hi everyone! It has been awhile hasn’t it. After a long day at work I have very little motivation to do anything else. Oops. My bad for abandoning this blog. I’m trying to factor in blogging into my weekends but we are away so often that it is becoming a mission! Today must be the on of the few weekends that we have actually stayed put in Nelson so I thought I’d take the opportunity to write a post. This topic here is something I spent hours and hours researching after starting work. So really, I may as well save you all some legwork and share it here

Ok, when I say preparing meals I do not mean the perfectly portioned and cooked meals that I constantly see on the nutrition/fitness social media channels. If this is what you are looking for, I’m sorry to disappoint. I do actually mean potentially unhealthy or healthy food

Hello from Nelson!

Goodness me, I can’t believe that I have been living in Nelson for a whole month now. How time flies. To my horror I also noticed that the last time I posted something here was in January!  My apologies. Do not worry though, I have finally sorted myself out and I am back to blog with a vengeance (if time permits). I will try to post a recipe soon but this week I thought I’d do an update and also some lessons learned from this grand moving adventure.
