Hello everyone! It has been awhile since I’ve shared a recipe here. Not to worry though cause I have a stack of recipes at my disposal now to share with you all. I also decided to create a section called Cooking 101  . I know how frustrating it is to make a dish only to fail despite all your efforts – makes you want to just go get takeout doesn’t it? So, this category will feature a range of  simple, fail-proof baking and cooking recipes for all the beginners out there. These recipes are those that I have used time and time again. All the mistakes that could be made, I have done. I will include my tips to avoid them and hopefully, you will have a pleasant cooking/baking experience with them!

So today’s recipe will be a classic dish – the roast chicken.

Pork and Chives Dumpling Recipe

Hello everyone! Time to take a break from the travel tales but not from Asia because…its dumpling time ! I am finally back with another recipe which, if you can’t tell, I absolutely LOVE. This recipe has seen me through exam periods and times where I can’t be bothered cooking. Best of all, you can tweak and swap ingredients to suit! Sometimes I make a cabbage, mushroom and pork version.

With this recipe I am also going to teach you how to make the wrappers. It is superbly easy to make by hand and even more so now that I have a noodle maker that also spits out dumpling wrappers. After I tried making my own wrappers, I never bought them again. It just tastes so much better when homemade cause you know…you made it, it has to be good right?

Corn Fritters and Fresh Tomato Salsa Recipe

It has been awhile since I wrote a recipe post. So I thought I’d write one today instead of continuing the Kuching Series posts. Today I will be sharing a recipe for Corn Fritters and Fresh Tomato Salsa. It is a simple recipe that  packs a punch!

Before we go on there is something I want to clarify. This recipe and other meatless recipes I’ve posted are definitely meatless but I cannot guarantee that it is vegan or vegetarian friendly. I usually include garlic, onion, eggs or milk in my cooking. To my knowledge these are acceptable to some vegetarians but not to others. So it is up to you to decide what you will need to omit and substitute .
