I am back to update how Turbofire has been going for me. Week 2 presented new challenges but it was a pretty exciting week for me. I was naughty and missed 2 days of the program (oops…). I shall elaborate below.
M and I started doing Meatless Monday’s when we returned from our holiday. I have to say that we have been doing well. M has been doing exceptionally well in my opinion considering he is a steak loving man.
Since we started Meatless Monday’s after dinner, M will complain of hunger and proceed to give me this look: (right maybe not that exaggerated…). So I’ve had to get quite creative in an effort to make nice and filling meals on Monday’s. Usually I trawl for recipes online. One day, I found this recipe here. There was tofu in the fridge and I thought it was worth a shot.
When I served it M looked skeptical. But by the end of the meal, he actually said he liked it! And he did not complain of hunger after to boot.
Hello all! Today I thought I’d give a little more insight into my life.
The other half is central to today’s post, so let me introduce him.
I have jumped from exercise plan to exercise plan without ever finishing the program. So with this, I am determined to stick till the end. The whole program is 20 weeks long.
Their website says that it will burn 9x more fat than a regular cardio workout. When I read that, I was sold. This program is marginally easier than Insanity (I tried it last year and it was literally insane) but still, I can see how it is be effective. When I say it is easier than Insanity, it still means that it is still pretty hard. It makes use of high intensity interval training (HIIT) and is very cardio focused. Think lots of punching, kicking and jumping.
