Hello Vietnam Restaurant Review

You know that feeling you get when you find a good restaurant that leaves you wanting to go back for more? That’s how I felt after my first visit to Hello Vietnam. So far I have been there 3 times in the past month alone. They are a fairly new restaurant with a very big menu! I have never visited Vietnam so I can’t say if it is authentic (I assume it is!) but the food sure as hell tastes amazing. There are only a handful of Vietnamese restaurants in Christchurch and this is definitely the best.

Pork and Chives Dumpling Recipe

Hello everyone! Time to take a break from the travel tales but not from Asia because…its dumpling time ! I am finally back with another recipe which, if you can’t tell, I absolutely LOVE. This recipe has seen me through exam periods and times where I can’t be bothered cooking. Best of all, you can tweak and swap ingredients to suit! Sometimes I make a cabbage, mushroom and pork version.

With this recipe I am also going to teach you how to make the wrappers. It is superbly easy to make by hand and even more so now that I have a noodle maker that also spits out dumpling wrappers. After I tried making my own wrappers, I never bought them again. It just tastes so much better when homemade cause you know…you made it, it has to be good right?

F&B Review: TJ’s Korean Restaurant (Food)

This is my first ever restaurant review! But really, my aim in providing reviews is to share with you my favourite places to dine in Christchurch.

The food scene here is expanding quickly but sometimes, old is better. I am pretty picky in terms of service and quality.
